Chairman of the Board
Sinew Management Group. LLC

Clarence, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mandaree Enterprise Corporation (MEC), founded Sinew Management Group in 2006 as part of a long-term strategy to diversify the business holdings of MEC and the Three Affiliated Tribes. His successful track record, vision and stewardship will undoubtedly lead SMG to accomplish its’ mission to become a preeminent supplier of Enterprise-class Information Technology and Services to Federal, State and Local Governments.

Since joining the Three Affiliated Tribe’s in 1993, its company Mandaree Enterprise Corporation (MEC) has gone from a small struggling five (5) person operation to a company that does business globally. Owned and operated by the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nations, of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. It hard to image that in 1993, the company “Mandaree Enterprise Corporation” was on the verge bankruptcy. However, under the leadership of Clarence O’Berry and the hard work and dedication of its employees the company has survived, expanded and diversified to several other operations with multiple locations nationally and globally and is now viewed as a model of success for tribal businesses.

Through the his leadership, strategies and long-term vision, Clarence continues to diversify the tribe’s position by creating a parent company to create, foster, nature and provide infrastructure support to additional tribally-owned businesses to include but not limited to electronic manufacturing, information technology, records management, asset/property management, sustaining engineering and corrosion control, claims processing, helpdesk support, staff augmentation, etc…

As a former owner of his own business and a manager of other privately-held and tribally-owned businesses, Clarence has acquired and uses his vast knowledge and experience in doing business levering many small business and Native American initiatives available through Federal Government and the Department of Defense, while always exploring unique approaches to providing services to commercial industries as well.

Clarence’s passion for business parallels his interest and appreciation of people. These qualities are evident by the long-term business relationships he has built and maintained with Mandaree Enterprise Corporation customers and partners. This is further demonstrated by the company’s achievements and multiple awards for quality and performance. Clarence’s management style is one that obviously works. He has increased the company’s operations and locations that resulted in a dramatic increase in sales since his hiring in 1993.
